Bethany Butler Myers

Bethany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Kansas City, Missouri.  She is a Certified EFT Therapist and is approved by ICEEFT to provide supervision to other therapists learning EFT.  She has extensive specialized training in EFT and continues to be mentored and receive consultation as she strives to refine her skill-set in order to provide quality treatment to her clients.   She completed the Bachelors and Masters Degree programs in the School of Social Work at the University Of Oklahoma.  Helping individuals and families relieve distress in their lives has been the primary focus of her education and career path for more than 20 years.   

Prior to going into private practice, Bethany’s clinical experience included a community mental health clinic, inpatient and outpatient care within hospital settings focusing on women and children, as well as working in a group home placement for teen mothers and their children. Along the course of her career, she has worked extensively with families of children with chronic illnesses, individuals and families experiencing traumatic loss, and families involved with adoption and foster care. She has a special interest in helping physicians and their partners create resiliency within their relationships despite the intense demands of a medical career.

Outside of my life as a therapist, Bethany is a wife and the mother of two boys.
